Most people ride the tram up, take the photo, and ride it back down. We're the detour: a contemporary art space on the first floor of The Peak Galleria, for anyone willing to leave the marked run.

The name

OffPiste 無跡空間

Off-piste is skiing away from the groomed, marked runs, into snow nobody has touched. 無跡 means the same thing in Chinese: without tracks.

The Peak is the city's most well-worn route. We picked the one spot on it that asks you to step off.

The diamond in our name comes from piste maps, where it marks the runs that ask the most of you. It's the only symbol we use.

Director and Founder

Angus Yip

Angus trained as a programmer at École 42 and began his career in tech in San Francisco. He came home to Hong Kong to found Media Studio Hong Kong, a creative studio, and opened Off-Piste in 2026.

“I've always loved art. I went to every exhibition I could, but I was good at maths, so I studied that instead. Tech ate a part of me that art fills back up.”

“Now I want to spend my days looking at art, not code. Though code-generated and interactive art still get me every time.”
